About

DADA Remolded is a month long exhibtion celebrating the dada art movement, focusing on the artists and work of: Hans Arp, Marcel Duchamp and Francis Picabia.

This exhibition is celebrating the

ideals of dadaism and  how it can still be reflected in today's society. As the passion and thoughts the Dadaists had

is still very relevant today.

The dada art movement was founded

by Hugo Ball in the Caberet Voltaire, Switzerland in 1916. It was an art movement with anarchy at its core, a reaction to WW1 and the society they

found themselves surrounded by. This

year is it's 100th anniversary of its birth, it was a movement that inspired change and new perspectives and that is the aim with this exhibition. To open our eyes and see that we shouldn't be ruled by social media or society's constraints. We are individuals and we need to remember to act like it.

Because "people who join us [want] to

keep their freedom."

T. Tzara, dada manifesto

"DADA was born , out of a need for independence, out of mistrust for the community. People who join us keep their freedom."

Tristan Tzara
