Francis Picabia
For Picabia, humans were nothing more than machines who were not ruled by their rational minds but by
a range of compulsive hungers.
This notion is still relevant in today’s society and even more so with the way technology has excelled.
Picabia said “the machine has become more than a mere adjunct
of life. It is really a part of human
life.. perhaps the very soul”
